Girls, Gods, Gaze, and Glitch

Unraveling the nature of Marian apparitions as glitch, and Mary as model infrastructure through gods, girls, gaze, and glitch.

Performance lecture

Tracing marian apparitions, the search for truth, and vessels/repetition/routine across catholicism & computers // looking over gods, girls, gaze, glitch // the rosary / body / mary as feminist infrastructure // the line between divinity & delusion // girl-saints & the dream — after being & holding gods & presenting everywhere (opacities, visibilities, the dream of disappearing), could I materialize only as an apparition?

The Rosary itself originated from a delusion. Is the reward for my devotion this delusion, or all this disappearing?

Touching two computers (& my pedal) & reading & sounding & opening/closing hundreds of windows ... embodying & filling the browser; thinking of how to perform and perhaps become hypertext, too.

Lecture 1 Lecture 1

I'm interested in 'apparition' as glitch: a feminist tactic of reaching believers at the peripheries. I'm interested in 'apparition' as disappearance: the diminishing and silencing of feminist beliefs. I'm interested in the girl body as a network technology, her performance and smoothness and virginity.

After all, women were the first computers.
