Every Love Song in the World is a performance & series of works on third world entanglement with digital infrastructure. Tracing a century of Filipino history, warfare, faith, migration, and labor, across personal, captured, and imagined vignettes, it consists of over 13 chapters.

Neferti Tadiar describes how the Philippines' primary product and export is that of service and affect. Computational systems today are built on the automating and masking of this production. Ultimately, Every Love Song in the World looks to the Filipino body as an interface who mediates and conditions the affects, intimacies, and violences that circulate through networks.

Mixing historical & personal narratives: the Hello Garci wiretapping scandal; pisonets and the sachet economy; Romana Didulo & the Philippines' linkages to conspiracy and scam operations; Lucky South 99 and POGOs that encroach on digital & physical territories; the ILOVEYOU virus by Onel de Guzman; the League of Legends Garena servers & Faker; the Filipino workers on cableship USAT Burnside; microsatellite Diwata-2; Our Lady of Lipa, female visionaries, and apparitions; the game show Wowowee and the ULTRA stampede, and more.

Each presentation of the work is modular, mixing desktop cinema, simulation, game engines, hypertext, video, and other digital forms across 13 chapters. A continuous thread through each is the fuzzy boundaries of power, ritual, and exchange as the Filipino reconstitutes and is reconstituted by technological systems.
